  1. Exhausted by Technology: A Semi non-fiction tale

“Hey, you are forgetting your cell-phone,” she interrupted as he was walking out.

“It is bullshit. As soon as I insert the battery, it starts vibrating like hell and it is as if it would burst up into tiny shards in my hands. It finally calms down when I wiggle out the battery again. It is switched off and well, I have no use of it.”

“But how are you in contact with other people?”

“I am not in contact with anyone. I need no mobile. Just hope that my crazy laptop starts connecting to the internet soon. I am exhausted.” He sat down on the bed, actually tired of using the virtual keyboard of that crappy old PC. “Do you know it takes me at least 5 minutes to type out a comment?”

She was bored of his monologue and was busy chatting on her own cell-phone and he was lost in his own thoughts of a brighter tomorrow if only the technician would come and know how to solve the major problem. All the others, so far, had proved themselves incompetent.
