The Irrelevancy of Power (A Poem – Yesterday’s Prompt)

Yesterday’s prompt was a tough one – but here’s a stab at it…

The Irrelevancy of Power
To be born
into a liberation movement…
to give in
and find strength…
to love
to prosper
and walk away.
To realize
and offer no explanations.
These became irrelevant
when given the chance
to love again.
