I Thought I saw A Fairy Lamp

I thought I saw a fairy lamp,

Under ferns so green and damp

The photo shows it may be so,

Without the photo who would know?

A cement mushroom and a gnome,

Make this garden their secret home.

The gnome is covered in lush green moss,

Without my care his face was lost.

Elephant bamboo grows though a rusty pan,

Look closer now, to the left if, you can.

A shiny light under moldy leaves,

Look closer now, if you please.

Duck your head below the cherry tree,

Hunker down on bended knee.

Smell the damp and fertile loam;

You see it’s a perfect place for a fairy home!

If you made it this far, you must believe;

What your eyes can see, your brain can conceive.

I thought I saw a fairy lamp,

Under ferns so green and damp
