Prompt – Stranger

You look in my eyes like you’re looking into my soul.
You smile. I smile.
We dance a lover’s dance.

I look away. Your eyes follow me.
I turn around. You’re still there.
We dance a lover’s dance.

You hold me tight like you’ll never let me go.
You sigh. I sigh.
We dance a lover’s dance.

I wake from my dream.
Who was that stranger?

  1. I really liked this. Something ethereal about it. Plus, dancing.

  2. Reblogged this on Year 'Round Thanksgiving Project and commented:
This is something I wrote for the Community Storyboard prompt today.

  3. Very mysterious. Always wonder about dreams doing that and if the person I saw is out there somewhere.

  4. Oh you must find that stranger, lovely image dancing in my head now 🙂

  5. I think I have had this dream before. 🙂 Nice work!

  6. I liked this a lot, Pamela – and that sounds like a lovely dream!

  7. Well done! This is beautiful, Pamela! I told you that you were a poet! Keep writing the poems!
