Day 19 Prompt – The greatest Mayor of all time

Mayor McCheese was a well-rounded character. Born in 1971, he went directly from his farm, The Cow and Bun, to the small screen in the living rooms of his adoring fans.  Often called ‘Meathead’ by his friends, he was better known in the seedier part of McDonaldland as an H.R. Pufnstuf wanna be. In fact, from 1973 to 1977 he was forced to go underground, hiding out in greasy spoons until a settlement was reached in which his employer forked out 1,000,000 patties on his behalf. By 1985 he was a wash up in the business. A flash in the pan, he only made one final cameo on VHS before his demise in 2003. Rumour has it that in his later years he was often seen at marijuana parties and was eventually consumed by the munchies.

His epitaph reads : It’s been a slice.

  2. I miss the old McDonald’s characters. Great obit.

  3. I heard Mayor McCheese was alive and was now the mayor of Toronto vowing to get crack off the streets by smoking it all…

  4. Love this one. Hilarious tongue-in-cheek blurb – even noirish. I like the tone. “Just the facts ma’am. Just the facts.”
