What if on a trip to the sea, a shark tried to take a bite out of me?

I’m thankful that his teeth missed, but if left me just a little pissed!

Who does he think he is, my life it’s mine not his.

How dare he try to take it away, I hope he just wanted to play.

The swimmers that were in the sea, they cleared out after his swipe at me.

He left in a bit of a rush, but had caused a heck of a fuss.

Now I’m out here all alone, guess it’s time to pack up and go home.

His attempt to drive me away, has worked but just for today.

Next time I head to the sea, I’ll try to bring shark repellant with me!

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
