The Hardest Part (Also Book Promo)

The book is done
My editing complete
I eye Amazon like a hawk
Greedy and nervous
Prepared for that final step
You are my chosen path

It is not the final step
Merely the first
The hardest part now looms
Terrifying marketing
Never taught in school
No warning of its shadow
That coils around my world

Tweeting on twitter
Posting blog and Facebook
Interviews of how I write
A whoring guest for bloggers
Like a dancing monkey
With a literary organ grinder
I hoot and jump for you

I thought it would be pie
Publish the book
Only a few promos to be had
Now I have another:
Beginning of a Hero on ereadernewstoday!
Prodigy of Rainbow Tower still 99 cents
The promo dance goes on

You heard the poem!  Click on a picture to go to the Amazon site!

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
