Burst of Color – Writing Prompt Autumn

Burst of Color

Brown, yellow and red
Forests change from summery
Hues to autumnal
Prisms of color o’er earth
Before morphing to winter

  1. Pretty colors before the white washing of the land. Ever notice that poets try to avoid orange this time of year?

  2. Pretty verse. I wish! I miss Fall.

  3. Great image. I used to love fall when I lived up north, but now have to be content with verse such as yours.
