The Tattoo

I’m trusting this monster
This colored in man
He draws my blood because
I said he can?

Incessant buzzing
His etched hand firm
Ink penetrating
I start to squirm

I bite my lip
I suppress my fears
He goads my skin
I fight the tears

He says he’s done
I take a peek
Spelling mistake!
I start to freak!

Blood pressure rises
I yell and I spit
He stares at me
Then says ”Oh Shit”

  1. A real “Oh shit” moment, great flow 🙂

  2. Hilarious. Always put your tattoo artist through a spelling test beforehand.
