Jules…me old pot and pan

who woulda winked’n’nod it?

I barely Adam and Eve it!

we might’n’t have bee’s and honey

or think on it much righ’ now

might not make an Oxford scholar

but we never bull and cow

your lovely mince pies

me flowing Barnet fair

grab me weasel and stoat

and me Khyber pass along the way

tell those daffadown dilly Hampton Wicks

you’ll be back for good one day

we must use our crusts of bread

butcher’s hook to the future

rabbit and pork abou’ it later this fall

writing this poem took cobbler’s Awls….

  1. Love a good cockney rhyming slang 🙂 Most times I don’t know what’s being said though!

  2. Trouble and strife and old pot and pan. Love it.

  3. Fantastic. I love it.

Running my hands through your barnet fair,
Placing my hand on your khyber pass,
    Together, forever, without a care,
Nothing more that we could ask

  4. I don’t know exactly what you said, but I believe the person most intended does 🙂

  5. Google translator does nothing! Lazy piece of tech!

  6. You lost me after Jules. But I still think I know the intent. Love both of you.

  7. Cute – I just started following Downton Abbey – not that watching this show would help me with interpreting what you have written, but I do get a slight gist of what you are saying. and if I try to recite it out loud, I sound a bit like Eliza Doolittle:)
