Love Revealed

My heart flutters and skips a beat
Any occasion we chance to meet.
Could I tell you on wings of a dove
The depth and breadth of my love?
Whispered words escape in my sigh
As I wish you were my guy.

My heart beats with desire
And aches with a lonely fire.
Someday, somehow I will be brave
And tell you it is only you I crave.
My wishes and my dreams
Only help me in my schemes.

Stolen moments in a day’s time
Give rise to my spirit’s climb.
Precious minutes spent with you
Wishing we were saying ‘I do.’
But for now my lips are sealed
Until the day my true love is revealed.

  3. Oh, this brings back teenaged memories.

  4. Waiting for the right moment. Great!!!
