A Fly On The Wall – ( Prompt ‘From the Eyes of a Little One’)

A Fly On The Wall

As coups go

it was

A few dead here.

A few dead there.

The hasty packing of boxes.

Secret documents thrown into a pond.

I was a fly on the wall

that day.

I heard a lot.

I’m lucky to be alive.

  1. The poor fly is heavy with information. What to do with it? A huge responsibility for such a small fellow. Too paralyzed to get down. 😀

  2. I love this, Ellespeth! As long as there is a fly on the wall, there is a “witness” 🙂
