April Prompt: Fun with Nonsense

So things have been quiet here.  Ionia and I talked about a way to liven things up and have some fun during a month where everyone seems to have projects.  People may even be a little stressed with deadlines, winter trying to hold on, and whatever else has you down.  That’s why we decided to do the following:

Nonsense Prompt!

This is rather simple.  Much like Lewis Carroll, you get to write a poem or story that focuses around a nonsense word or set of nonsense words.  Just have fun with this.  It can even be a nonsense phrase.  Let’s flex the imagination for spring.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

My entire life is nonsense so maybe I should just write about that 😉 But you should participate – we’d love to see my submissions

  2. I shall have to ponder this. I have all sorts of neologisms, thanks to Penny.

  3. I’ll give it a go. My first Community Storyboard prompt hooray 🙂

I’m fairly excited about this…perhaps this is a good point for my fairy, Chloe, to reappear…25% sensible Chloe. Pass on by The Community Storyboard. Read entries and create entries.

While there may be some confusion due to the names of our blogs being so similar, it seem that our desire to inspire creative output is absolutely aligned! I had fun with this prompt.

  6. I did not see a contact link so I thought I’d reach out via the comments option.
This is an inspiration and I have reblogged your latest on my WordPress blog The Community Story. You may be interested in taking a look and participating in that as well. Anything to inspire writers and keep the community working together!
