The First Time… (Triquain)

The First Time…

The first time
You put your hand on mine
It was tentative and questioning
Wondering if I felt the same thing for you too
I responded with a squeeze and smile
Hoping it was the start
Of new love

  1. Perfect! You really captured the essence of nerves and hope for new love:)

  2. Can see the scene.
The first time I read the prompt “the first time”, I said to myself: “Hey! ‘The first time’, that’s a good prompt”. At least that’s what I thought the first time I saw it. But really it is. I’ll work on it — which would be another first.
