This Old Home Writing Challenge

I dream of this old house,
And turning it into a home
This home is just a dream,
Until we both are there together

I dream of days spent idly,
Sitting on the porch,
Or lying there in the garden,
With you wrapped in my arms

The kids running about the yard,
Exploring every nook and cranny
Whilst we snuggle and watch on
From that swing there on the porch

I see the flowers blooming,
The ones we set together
Mirroring our love
Grown so deep and true

I see us as we smile,
At every little thing,
Every stick of furniture,
Chosen with love so pure

Together we turn this house,
Into the home we desire
A reflection of our devotion,
Our perfect life, together.

Without love, a house is just a house,
But with a love as true as ours,
We turn this house into a home,
As love has turned two into one.

I love you, Ionia
