August Tulips – A Love Poem

I’ll be away from the Community Storyboard – at least into Fall.  Since Mother Nature was teasing us, bringing us such wonderful cool weather during the middle of Summer,  thought I’d leave you with this!

Tulips from My Lover Man

August Tulips
What puts a chill
in the August breeze
and brings tulips
West in summer
when hummingbirds
feeding on red
and sweet
quickens feet
and hearts
just before the moon breaks orange
and full?

  1. There may be a chill in the air but those beauties have obviously warmed your heart. ❤
